Venture Portraits - Anna

A wee while ago, me and my family went of to get photos taken of us from Venture. It was a fantastic day which we all enjoyed.

It is not like a normal photography place as they get you to do all sorts of wild things. We were told to take our instruments along and they have wonderful ideas! There was a brilliant picture of me and my sister and it looked like we were shooting each other with the instruments. We also did things like getting pictures of us all in the air and running around.

The only thing I felt was bad was that the everything, after you have bought the photo, seemed cost a lot of money if you don't have a voucher. You can easily get them online though or, like us, winning competitions from them where you get a free photo shoot but almost everybody wins!

It was a fabulous experience I would recomend :D

The Simpsons Movie - Andrew

Age - PG
Film Length - 83 mins
Starring - Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright, Yeardley Smith, Hank Azaria, Harry Shearer
Rating - 3/5

Homer adopts a pig who's run away from Krusty Burger after Krusty tried to have him slaughtered, naming the pig "Spider Pig." At the same time, the lake is protected after the audience sink the barges Green Day are on with garbage after they mention the environment. Meanwhile, Spider Pig's waste has filled up a silo in just 2 days, apparently with Homer's help. Homer can't get to the dump quickly so dumps the silo in the lake, polluting it. Russ Cargill, the villainous boss of the EPA, gives Arnold Schwarzenegger 5 options, forcing him to choose 4 (which is, unfortunately, to destroy Springfield) and putting a dome over Springfield to prevent evacuation. Homer, however, has escaped, along with his family. Can he stop the evil Cargill from annihilating his home town, and his family, who have been forced to return to Springfield?

I think this movie is really funny and a great one to watch with friends but my only gripe is that there wasn’t enough focus on the storyline. I recommend this film for anyone who likes the Simpsons or anyone with a comic sense of humour.

Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub - Lucy

I do not own this image.
Rating - 4/5

Cost - £4.75

Ingredients - Castor Sugar, Organic Jojoba Oil, Flavour, Colour 45410, Colour 45380

I received this as a gift for Christmas in a heavenly package full of Lush goodies and found this as the gold at the bottom of the treasure chest! It smells amazing like sweet strawberry bubblegum! When I heard that it is for exfoliating your lips I felt a bit off, just imagine! But it is really gentle and tastes great! Oh, that's another thing, I always want to eat my lip balm when I put it on which you are not meant to do (hehe) but with this, that is part of the steps of using it! The only reason I marked it down was because of the price, rather expensive for a small amount but i suppose if it is just for your lips, you don't need much of it. Also, the application is a bit messy, you have to use your fingers to use it but at least you will now have some exfoliated fingers?!

Hehe, thanks for reading my first review, please give feedback on what you thought and what I should do next! :D
